Well I went to TNT yesterday with Teddisnoke for a little draggin fun at our local 1/8th mile. All this time I have run my car successfully with no traction device, until my VIOLENT wheelhop began yesterday! My car would launch hard but the springs would unwrap and instantly send me into some nasty wheelhop. Also, my MPH was the same (within .5 mph) as my previous runs at that track.

So its time I bought some traction bars! Ill probably just get some slappers and see what happens. I did find a guy selling a set of Caltrac bars and springs but they are from a 70 Nova. Does anyone know if they are the same for a 67?

Heres a couple pics for your viewing pleasure:

Calvert shows two different part#s for Chevy II Caltracs vs. 3rd gen novas. Also, all this time I thought you were running a 350...just saw that it's a 383 :)

BTW, SNS is back online.

Are those the new lower A arms showing in the picture? Do you think they could have made a difference in the weight transfer?
Looks nice - I think I see some air under tire.

Thanks for the clarification Dave- Ill also repost this at Steves.

Chuck- those are the new lower control arms from CPP. I dont think they made a difference on weight transfer but I wont rule it out. And I dont think Im getting air under the tire quite yet- but it sure is close!!!
