My shop will be handling the complete build of the car.
Hope you all like the rendering by Ben Hermance (http://www.hermancedesign.com/). We are looking at a black cherry type of color for the car (as it stands now...)
Big Dave Nov 16th, 08, 11:44 AM I like it. Will it have a black vynil roof? Or am I seeing things?

well since our shop is doing it to be donated to to give away- Im not going crazy... probably just keep it clean and simple, updating things a bit , new interior, rugs etc.
We use donated parts and stuff too so if anyone wants in on being a sponsor -let me know. I can have the Right Coast send you info.
I'm still looking for an interior guy donation and a crate motor for it too- nothing wild- maybe a small block. I have a 305 but would prefer a crate motor 350.
Want it to have fun power and not look like a numbers matching , 'everyone has one' Nova.
I think it will turn out pretty cool and a great giveaway for someone who attends the Right Coast (http://www.rightcoastcars.com)shows. Not a bad deal for having a weekend of fun- walking away with a car.
Wish I could win it. lol

Blksilveradoss03 Jan 31st, 10, 08:28 AM got any pics of the mounting for the fog lights as far as brackets onthe backside? Also, how did you fill the liscense plate area also?
chopshopcustoms Jan 31st, 10, 08:47 AM got any pics of the mounting for the fog lights as far as brackets onthe backside? Also, how did you fill the liscense plate area also?
Hey- thanks for asking- I havent gotten that far yet but I usually weld tabs on the back of the bumper for the fog light mounts and I use thin round tube stock for the recessed part of it. In the liscense plate filler I usually bend and weld (hammer form) sections and tig weld them in.
Hope that helps to explain. Ill try to post pics when I get to that point.
If anyone is so inclined, Ill be having a jam session ont he car next weekend again - would love some talented people to come and have some fun with the car!
cottonwood71 Feb 1st, 10, 12:22 AM Very Nice! Somebody is going to have a good day, make that good life! when they win that car.

dan@swift Feb 9th, 10, 09:57 PM When's this car supposed to be finished? I wouldn't mind swinging up one weekend with some long blocks if it'll help any.
