you wll be able to tell best in person, compare it to others being sold,internet, ebay, take a magnet to the entire car, look everywhere you can, offer them about $800 less then asking price

I would look really hard at the typical rust areas. You might find the rust holes have been stuffed with bondo then just primed over. Get on your back and look up under the car at the inner side of the rear quarters, frame rails and complete floors. Good luck
