i know this is the wrong website and it's off topic but how much should a 1970 corvette go for??? just a daily driven 2dr sport coupe with a 350, overdrive trans 700r4, leather interior, nice black paint with one small bubble by the fuel tank...does anyone know how much of the body is fiberglass??? where should i look for, for rust?? guy wants 11k...is that high or low or about the right price???

how many miles ? what has been redone trans motor in my mind 11k is alittle steep for a 70 model

the whole body is 'glass.
check the nose area by the headlights & hood opening... common areas i think for stress cracks.
for price comparisons, do an E-Slay, Craigslist & Recycler search ;)

sounds like it's a non-numbers matchin car which depreciates the value significantly. Those were mostly solid lifter LT1 cars and most were 4 spds.
That being said I'd look to get the guy down to $8k if the car is in really nice driver condition. If not then ya gotta start deducting for other imperfections.
68'-72' are actually my favorite years for Vette's.
