I have two questions that need answering so I can make my car run better[I hope].How many volts are supposed to be at the msd coil[blaster 2]? What is the resistance of the pickup coil in the distributor ?

should get full batt to the coil (~12V)....the resistance of any coil of wire should be very small...it is just wire, pickup coil, primary or secondary coil....only wire thats different is spark plug wires
