This is a rebuilt Chevrolet TH-400 / Turbo 400 3 speed automatic transmission, rebuilt by a famous local racing transmission builder (Doug Miller) who said it will handle at least 750 HP.

New paint on trans. No fluid in it since the rebuild. I have over $800 invested in it.

I had this trans built to go in my 69 Camaro drag/show car but sold the car before using the trans and am building Ford Bronco's now so I have no need for this trans. It is a great heavy duty trans that can be used for racing or as a daily driver trans. This is a great deal and cost much less than buying a used trans and having it built.


I can deliver localy within reason.

There is some dust on the trans but it is flawless.

Numbers on the trans bell housing:
Drivers side lip of bell housing: 12T3??4862 (?= I cant read it to even guess)
Passenger side of bell housing: 8628462 or 8625462

T - Tarrytown, NY assembly (only full size cars in 1972)
??4862 - Last 6 digits of the VIN

So it may have been originaly a big car trans, Impala type
