I have a 3" exhaust system and I put the wye pipe in a while ago. It's now time to purchase a pair of electric cut outs and I was wondering if anyone has any input. I see them anywhere from 300.00 - 600.00. I know you get what you pay for, but was curious if someone has been through this before. Thanks, Rick :waving:

My friend put a pair on his Firebird (late model), so far no problems. Think he got the from summit (could look up). They have been on his car for a couple of months now. (California weather)

I think the electric is just something else to go wrong.

When I was younger I used a flat plate cut out that came out to just beneath the door sill so I could take it apart on the side of the road. Weld the bolts on to the back of the collector flange, as it is one less thing to loose in the dark.
