Hey Guys, while looking for other parts i came across this Ram-Air box... looked pretty cool ta me and i thought i'd pass it on. they also have tubes, couplers, elbows etc to connect it all up.

Their website designer should be fired. Stupid animation and music started when I brought up that link. I hate that. I'm not going to do business with them as a result.

They sure do make a pretty air box I wonder if it fits or if you have to chop it up and turn it into junk like that other one you know the plastic or fiberglass one I don't remember what it was made out of I just know it wasn't very pretty and it doesn't fit properly:o

well... what can i say Dave. nothing is as you're led to believe i guess. i bought this thing probably 4 years ago and i'd hate ta just throw it away. at the time no one else made one that i knew of so i was stuck... as you know i searched for a long time and finally came up with the early '60's air cleaner assembly that i was going to modify to make my own "Old School" Ram-Air box but unfortunately, as you know, it just doesn't look right on the engine.

as per our conversation earlier, i'm going to get a 14x3" air filter and just run that for a while with the lid & base supplied with the Ram-Air box until it can be modified correctly or i make my own. either steel or aluminum, i dunno yet... but i want a Ram-Air box on the Flyer.


no biggie... it won't hold me back from drivin' it ;)
