So I am in crunch time trying to get everything done in time at work for our yearly "opening day" (long story) anyway I am just running around like a chicken with my head cut off. One of my guys is close to me firing him but I need the warm body to finish everything so I have to deal with his slow a** and everyone is coming to me to finish everything they couldn't get done.
So I get home today and I call my pharmacy for a prescription my doctor called in and they want $80 for 7 pills!!!! So I call my doctor and they tell me that they can't help me unless I can give them the pharmacy's number, they don't seem to have it anymore.:confused: So I'm just crazy frustrated at this point that I think, "I'm just going to take the Nova for a ride." I havn't driven it since I put the bucket seats in it so I head outside to open the garage up and go for a ride and my neighbor comes over "I have something beeping in my motorhome, will you help me."
Normally I love to help her out (her husband passed away last year) but I'm so taxed from everyone leaning on my lately I tell her "give me 30 mins. I'm running somewhere real quick." So I hop in the car and take off. I run over to a place that a buddy of mine is working and he asked me to check out his welds, when I get there I look back at my car and the damn thing is leaking!!!!!
So my water pump went out tonight! I filled it up and drove it back home. I have it all apart now and I am getting the pump tomorrow. Cool the way the old pump goes on this motor.
Sorry for the long post but it was just one of those days and my outlet to relax decided to kick me in the nuts too.
I'm going to bed.


Oh yea, I did fix my neighbors RV when I got home.:thumbsup:

Steve, ya know i've had numerous days like that and it always seemed that once i got through that specific hornet's nest another one would be right behind it. i know exactly how ya feel... one thing ta remember is as the sun goes down ya have another day ta look forward to in the morning... another day ta fight through ta get to the Next one ;)

Sorry to hear you are having a rough day Steve! When you get more bad days than good it is time to consider a career change as it will effect your health. And as Mel Brooks is found of reminding us (a gag line in almost every one of his movies), "If you haven't got your health, what have you got?"

I really have a good job and I really like it. For the most part they leave me alone and let me do my thing. Yesterday was just one of those days I guess.
The bright side is the new water pump is only $21.:D
