I have a 70 bb SS and have two lines going from my gas tank to the fuel tank; How is the fuel tank vented as I can not find any other lines going from the fuel tank; also if there was a charcoal filter on mine it is long gone. After I drive my any length of time it builts up pressure in the tank also . It has not been a big problem altho at times you can smell gas when it is cut off; Thanks

I would put a vented cap on the tank. If your car was an original 350 horse 396 SS Nova then it had a Rochester Quadrajet 780 cfm carb that used a return line from the fuel pump to keep it supplied with gas. That is why you can not find the charcoal filter, because the tank was not vented under the hood.
