hello looking for advice on qtr panel replacement on 72 nova. Need a little help on how to fit qtr at corner of window because of window molding not being removed. I am not replacing sailpanel I cut it off new qtr. Do you leave the corner on car and fit it like a skin? any help please?

Keith,why not take the trim off?

Most body shops will leave that area intact due to fit and finish. In other words, they would usually leave about 2-3" inches of the panel intact so they don't warp or screw up the body lines as demonstrated in this picture:

I searched on this site and on Stevesnovasite and found an old thread on how to remove trim. This forum is a wealth of information for a novice.
