I was thinking about putting a pair of buckets in my 1970 nova, just wondering what buckets, besides factory ones of course, are compatible and look nice

thanks,
Conor

I am going to install 95 Firebird buckets in my Nova. They are comfortable, the backs recline and the drivers side is power. $50 off Craigslist.

I used a set of genuine “soft Corinthian leather” white bucket seats out of a friend of mines totaled 1970 Hemi Challenger with the SE interior (recommended by Ricardo Montalban) I had the car repainted "Plum Crazy Purple" with a faux white vinyl top (spray painted acrylic vinyl paint). Not exactly concours original but the high back seats were comfy.

I am using the Firebird tracks and will fabricate brackets to install the drivers seat level and centered with the steering wheel. Then install the passeger seat the same distance from the door to make them even. The brackets will be welded to the floor and have either a stud or a nut welded to them to mount the seat track.
