Don, most part stores (Kragens, AutoZone etc) that are "computer only" style stores may have difficulty looking up a cable... but ANY NAPA or std style "Jobber" store should be able to look in a catalog, look up the listing for your car, see the lengths needed and then supply you with a larger sized cable... if you know the lengths i'd say to just ask for that cable... a 1 guage is probably as big as you'll be able to get... sizes in length aren't as numerous as, say, a 4 guage but larger cables are available... if needed a longer cable could be shortened and a new eyelug soldered to the end...
hope i helped ;)

I bought 00 gauge multistrand copper wire in red and black and used three sets of Taylor Brass 2 Ga. battery eyelet terminals (part number 21409 that used to sell for $17.39 a pair) from my local Interstate Battery company. Mounted battery in the trunk and used Moroso cut off switch (300 Amp continuous) to meet NHRA safety code.

I used some 1/0 gauge wire from True Value and at one end, used a 3/8" end cap for the remote mounted starter selenoid and used the other end for the custom battery terminals I purchased off of E-_ay. I thought I had some pics to show you so tomorrow I'll take a couple to show you what I am talking about..

Also most local audio shops carry a wide verity of wire sizes and the wire should be able to handle what you need it for. A lot of it is use to power amps and such.
