Can someone tell me where the partial vin.# is on a 66 Nova SS. It is not on the right front pad, would it be by the oil filter like on a 69 Camaro? The # on the pad shows the date and place it was made I assume. It is a 283 2bl. and it seems to be close to a survivor, Thanks Brad.

It's not out of the question that it is not there on the original block. I've seen a few that I KNOW are originals, and no VIN on them.

My friend just bought a 67 SS 327 that he is quite sure is original, and it's blank too.
