I was looking online to buy seatbelts for my 62 Convertible. (Moma will not ride without). It appears the generic cheap belt suppliers over one length size fits all - 74". However a more customized supplier offers a choice of 60" or 74". Which length fits the 62' best?

It depends on the look you are going for. What I mean is that you could go the stock route and stick with the std length or go with the aftermarket scene and choose your own. Since the aftermarket company is loaded with companies offering everything, why not upgrade to a retractable set up or even a 3-point set-up. Which will take care of 2 things:

1. You will be safer

2. You can have the Mrs ride in style in the Nova..

Hope this helps..

(BTW) In my 66, I went with a 3-point harness for the front bench and rear seats.

Anyone have pics of a 3 point setup in a convertible?

3 point in a rag top is possible but makes it real hard to get into the back seat. The shoulder belt would need to be mounted to the body behind the front door and then come over the seat. There are seats with the belts built in which would be more practical if shoulder belts are needed.
