Hi guys! I'm new here on Team Nova but a regular over at both TC's. I figured I would come over here to ask a question for the Nova guys.

I have a March of 1966 Nova 12 bolt coded FP. I know the code means 3.73 posi but what engine was it behind? I am almost sure this is an L79 rear but I need to know for sure. This rear is gorgeous and you can still see the factory inspection marks

Could have been either a 283 or a 327, depending upon the order sheet. The build sheet the car had when they installed that rear end will tell you. Without that documentation, it is just another rare narrow 12 bolt built for an early Chevy II.
