Could some one help me figure out what rear end i have? I think it is a 8.2'' The code on the passenger axl is 2TB 80622 novaresource tells me the 2TB is a 79 nova 8.5'' but the diff cover tells me it's a 8.2'' :confused:

would you by chance have the housing casting number also... it might help ;)

The cover for the 8.2 and 8.5 are interchangable. Look at the bottom of the casting for the square lugs that ID the 8.5.
