I just got done with prep and paint on the new wheels. I think they turned out great. Tomorrow the tires will be mounted.

This was the set of 8's for the El Camino. The Nova gets 7's so the process will be repeated in a few weeks. I used Dupli-Color primer, paint and clear. After bead blasting etching primer was applied, followed by WP101 silver wheel paint and then HWP103 clear coat for wheels.

Thanks, seems to be shame to have to scratch them up with caps and rings.

Maybe I will just buy some chrome lug nuts and not run caps or rings, but then I like the look of the caps and rings too. What to do, what to do. :)

All that work and they look just like stock.
