I did a search, (i know I seen it somewhere) came up empty handed. I am needing to know what wire gets hooked to the HEI? I believe it is the pink, but this is a resistor wire. Remove and replace with plain wire? Or am I completely off base? (Hot wire to give it 12 volts) 72 6cyl, now smallblock.If the resistor wire gets removed do I do anything under the dash to the switch? Completely:confused: Thanks

All you need to do is remove the factory resistor wire, it will be a fabric covered wire and replace it with a 10 gage wire you should be able to take the harness plug off the fuse box and remove the wire that way. Then remove and discard the other wire that goes to the coil. It is that simple. I did this on the 62 and worked perfect.
