Anybody know a source of supply for a radiator cover for a stock 4 row radiator? Was a 71 small block with a 2 row, now BB 454 . but most suppliers only have 2 row covers. I already was able to get the BB radiator, Radiator support and the rubber inserts for a 4 row but had to hammer cover out to make it work, but would like to make it right....I've seen them on 68,69 & 70 396ers.

Thanks

Metal piece is the same. You generally change the two upper, and the two lower rubber cushions were the radiator tank rests on the tray jutting off the radiator core support.

That is unless your radiator bolts to the core support with brackets soldered to the tank. In which case the upper piece is generally missing on six bangers and base V-8s. It is not a cover, but a piece put there on SS cars and cars with HD cooling to improve the cooling (it forces the air through the radiator instead of allowing it to flow over the top).

I have seen them chromed from Mr. Gasket (but not in a long time).

I would like to know where to get a cover for the hd radiator that came on the 73/74 that had a/c. mine came with a six cylinder and I had to add two inches to it to make it work. Even a used one would be nice.
