so now that thenovas running, i have driven it and found out my turn signals dont work. i changed the flasher(the big round thing in the fuse box right?) and still not working. also my instrament cluster is really dim the head light knob is turned all the way to make it bright but still dim any suggestions

check for any blown fuses... make sure the connections are tight (no disconnected wires)
might take a close look to determine if the cluster bulbs are all working. if any are bad you'd need to replace them.

Sounds like a weak connection somewhere. Make sure you have a good ground connection between the battery and the body, and that the instrument panel has a good ground connection to the body too. Check all the connections you can get to and plug/unplug 'em a couple of times to shine up the areas that make contact a bit.
I'm assuming you have a good battery and alternator, right?

a little update today i dropped 20 dollars on fuses and light bulbs and 20 min with of work. changed every fuse and every light bulb and now i have tun signals and brake lights

ok new problem the right turn signals work the left dont any more ideas
