I've got a feeling when I start to tackle the missing/broken weather stripping and door gaskets, I'll pull my hair out!! I just bought this 67 Wagon that's been driven regularly but always parked outside; and the weather has vaporizer the seals/gaskets/felt. What have you guys experienced?

i don't think you'll have any real issues on the weatherstripping. i've replaced most of it on my '65 wagon with no real probs.
i wish ya luck ;)
Johnny (PS: check my info/albums) for door & window info ;)

Aren't you supose tp put the weather stripping on after the car is painted thats what I have been waiting for. Thats just what I have heard anyways.

if the plan is to paint then yes, i'd say do the painting first... makes for a better, higher quality job ;)
i've installed the necessary channels etc to install the windows. when i bought the car half of them had been removed and weatherstripping was gone. i still have all door weather strips to install after paint ;)

Thanks for the reply guys. I have been doing body work for a couple years now and you do get a better look when you paint it without the new weatherstipping installed. :D
