The steering wheel I am going to use in my 69 project is a nice leather wrap wheel that i got out of a Cavalier. The horn button cover is a vinyl piece that has "Cavalier" molded into it. Any suggestions on how to hide or get rid of the word Cavalier. Something to go over the word???

does a different model GM car take the same horn cap ???
maybe there's one that's plain ???
if you had an extra to experiment with, what about filling it with a rubber based/type sealer that's paintable... fill it, let cure, maybe sand/smooth it and paint it ;)
ORRRRRR...
you could put a sticker on it that says "Honk Here" :D

Looks like this. Not good for anything. Taz3 had suggested an s10 piece as some of them have a bowtie on them. I haven't been able to find one in a wrecking yard yet.

I thought maybe the one from the 4 spoke sport wheel found in a lot of GM cars would have fit, but that is totally different. I have seen emblems designed to stick on GM SS type wheels for sale on eBay. If the diameter is not to big the center of the button could be cut down and one of those emblems may fit flush. Or stick a picture of your wife/girlfriend/child or Johnny in the middle :)

how about spinning a piece of aluminum on the lathe and getting any thing you want engraved or etched into it?
