Al Dec 4th, 05, 08:21 PM True enough Bill. It's not going to be gone though, we have a number of great nova guys stopping by every so often to see if they can help out. It's only linked from chevelles.com, camaros.net and yenko.net so that explains the current trend. It is not listed anywhere else like the searches yet and there are other fine resources for sharing info on novas, we just happen to be a new one. :) thanks for stopping by. Al driver Dec 4th, 05, 08:48 PM Own one myself.Really like it and hope it picks up some speed in the future.BILL Nova72 Dec 4th, 05, 10:22 PM Me Too!:) rhamm1320 Dec 5th, 05, 01:15 AM Give it time :beers: The camaro and chevelle site had a 5? years head start. Its a niche site and has the perfect web url. 71SS Dec 5th, 05, 08:12 AM Give it time, I don't want to say competing but Steve's Nova Site has been around for a while and I believe most Nova folks are there. Some do not even know of this site yet. It's hard to get old dogs to do new tricks but persistence pays off. I always check in in the morning to see if anything new. 69NovaSS Dec 5th, 05, 09:53 AM Ya me too, I stop buy a couple of times a day to see whats happening:beers: Motorhead62 Dec 5th, 05, 08:10 PM Most of the guys here are on the Chevelle and Camaro site too. It is just gonna take time. Be patient and keep posting!!!!!! IIfast66 Dec 6th, 05, 02:03 AM It takes time...Glad to see all the people here already....I heard about it from a chevelle guy..LOL 69NovaSS Dec 6th, 05, 08:44 AM Most of the guys here are on the Chevelle and Camaro site too. It is just gonna take time. Be patient and keep posting!!!!!! There are a few of us from that "OTHER" Nova site that stop by here once in a while...All this site needs is time and it will be booming.;) 63AKDN Dec 6th, 05, 07:16 PM I stop by daily, or at least every time I go online. There can never be too many places we can visit to get information about the cars we love. Motorhead62 Dec 8th, 05, 12:17 AM I check in as often as possible too...keep posting!!! TDWZ28 Dec 9th, 05, 08:30 PM I'm here from the Camaro and Chevelle sites. I have a Nova now too, so I check in daily. Don't say much though. 72-SS-L48 Dec 11th, 05, 12:59 AM Why not post a thread on other major Classic Car Forums to help advertise? (Corvette Forum, Nasty Z28, etc) Al Dec 11th, 05, 04:44 PM Posting on other forums asking for visitors is generally considered spammy or trolling so that's not something we are going to do. If we get an interesting topic here that gets linked, that's usually fine. jimi67SS Dec 11th, 05, 07:40 PM Hello This site will take off mark my words!! Just give it the time it needs to get everybody aware of it!!! Everybody keep posting!! Thanks, Jimi's 67 Super Sport Nova DANNO Dec 13th, 05, 08:45 PM I'm a moderator over at the "other" Nova site. One of the members there asked if I felt it would be disloyal to post here, too. I said, heck no! If there were 10 Nova sites, I would post at all ten! (I post at ChevyTalk, too:D ). I noted that the Nova calendar published by twitchy digit, has a plug for this site. (it's a cool calendar, too. Nothing but Novas.) Dan (so, not to worry!):D Toms73NovaSS Dec 14th, 05, 07:52 AM I'm a moderator over at the "other" Nova site. One of the members there asked if I felt it would be disloyal to post here, too. By asking the same question at both sites you may be able to get to a result in two different directions and each of the posts might represent these directions. It is also good to see guys from the "other" nova site here to keep the nova community close together. ZAPPER68 Dec 16th, 05, 03:51 AM Give the site time, it will be successful. I finally made it here due to the Chevelle web site. Remember, patience is a virtue. DANNO Dec 16th, 05, 04:21 PM Dan, Your a trader, you dirty rat!!:p Hey, I am a trader. What 'cha got? Dan (but I'm not a rat and I did take a shower this morning):D Al Dec 16th, 05, 07:39 PM pssst!! Got more than 5 posts? If so, you are welcome to waste a bit of time in our Team Nova Arcade (http://www.novas.net/forums/arcade.php) it's a heckuva way to get posts isn't it? J/K ;) Thought we would let it run over the holidays. It can be a bit addicting though. Thanks for stopping by! Al 69NovaSS Dec 17th, 05, 03:31 PM pssst!! Got more than 5 posts? Al Al...I like the arcade...lots of fun....very cool...thanks.:) 68 bow tie Dec 20th, 05, 08:04 PM I think it will catch on, just give it time. When i first started on the chevelle site it was slow too. I don't think many ppl know its here. I think there should be a link from the camaro and chevelle site to here on the front page of those sites. jammon73 Dec 31st, 05, 12:57 AM Hey Guys! New Here! Just came over from the Buick site that I've been with a couple of years! Nice place here to get good advice and the benefit of others' experience! In the past, I've had alot of guys around my hometown mad at me because I "go against the flow"! As an example: 1979 Dodge Challenger with 1970-CHEVY 350 (12 to 1 Comp.) with a Muncie 4 "slammer"! Caught He!! for that one from the Dodge guys!! 1972 Nova SS with a Buick 350 out of a 70' GS with a Dana 60 and Powerglide (manual shift)!! Now I'm gonna "shoehorn" my 70' Buick 455/400TH into a 73' Nova Custom and hopefully not forget to configure my frame connectors before I take it for a Small trip around the block!! I LOVE these sites because of the variety of interests and I respect ALL interests, no matter how outrageous!! My wife says I'm certifiable, I sure hope so!!!! Here's to Novas and ALL Great cars that make America the standard of EXCELLENCE!!! NOW, I'll step away from the podium and take my seat like a good boy now!!! jammon73 NovaDad Dec 31st, 05, 02:17 AM Hi all! I just found this site tonight! I linked over from the Chevelle site, but I am a long time '69 Nova SS owner! I also new about Steve's site, but was unaware of this one. I have now added it to the top of my "favorites" list! As far as I am concerned, you can not have too many Nova sites! Dave bowtiepower00 Jan 3rd, 06, 11:09 PM Another Nova owner here, mines a 68 that's going to be under construction for quite a while. I spend most of my time at the Chevelle and Camaro sites, as they have quite a bit more info, but I will be sure to check in for any Nova-specific knowledge I may need or be able to give... |
