I'm a little confused with the trim numbers on my 73. Line two starts out with 79. then it's A51 11 11 I know from nova resource that the A51 is bucket seats and the 11 11 is the paint color. Nova resource does not list 79 for the interior. Was this special order? It's got me curious. Thanks

I've never seen that kind of fabric before. Do you think they may have switched from a Skylark ,Omega or an Apollo????

As far as I know I'm the third owner of the car. This is an original bucket seat SS car.

I am with Russ on the fabric pattern. There are documented cases of some models of Chevy cars having interiors from the BOP family. Some were due to strikes and sometimes due to supply on hand. The 79 code could be correct for those seat/color combination. I would assume if a BOP interior was installed the corresponding codes would also be used.

This is getting wild;) Kinda like the pattern:p They are BUTT UGLY. I can see now how you would be correct on the BOP seats. Now things are starting to make sense. Is there a website to verify this with the cowl tag?

Tim try running a search for other sites that may have info on the BOP cowl tags. There has to be some out there.

I went and searched at Team Buick. I didn't find a reference page, but there are some members that have a lot of info. Try posting a question there maybe one of these guys can give you an answer.
