Anything was possible then. I do not know of any specific RPO codes for heater delete, but there was always COPO orders if you knew how to do them.

Yes the heater could be deleted under COPO but since it is part of the defrost system I can think of no one other than a racer that would do that (99.99% of all COPO orders were from municipalities ordering cop cars and other fleet cars, and the RR ordering weird width axles, or the phone company ordering all of their trucks painted with their paint scheme ready for decals, etc).

You can make your own by removing the cover and drawing the outline onto a sheet of aluminum or steel plate. Cut it out with a saber saw after drilling the holes for the bolts, and debur before painting black.
