Is the 69 Camaro BBC radiator the same as the 69 Nova BBC radiator?:cool:

Yes though the radiator supports are different. Either radiator will bolt in and they are interchangeable. BBC had four cores in 1969 three cores in 1968 unless equipped with an A/C. I personally prefer a Griffin dual 1-1/4 inch core aluminum radiator because of the added pressure it will hold, and the stamped tanks when painted black look natural.

Does the Griffin radiator sit closer to the fan blades? I may change my 3 core to an aluminum but there isn't much room between the fan and cooling fins.

Sits in the stock location and is a thick as a four core brass radiator. They make them thicker than that if you want to amp up the horse power (BTUs you are trying to shed).

Is the Griffin noticably better than the stock brass? Is it better than the BeCool radiators too? I am gonna be running a 383 stroker with a turbo 350, but will eventually be putting a 427 back in it so need to be able to cool efficiently.
