I am in the process of installing a 454 into a 1972 Nova. I am hoping to replicate a 1969 Yenko and want it to appear as original as possible. I have run into problems with the radiator. My stock one is too small, so I upgraded to a wider one, one that fits the shround for a 1969 Big Block. Problem is the shroud does not allow a top plate and my research has told me that I need brackets, that can be soldered to the radiator so I can use four bolts on the sides and the original rubber seal and shroud bracket. Problem is I can not find any radiators that have the brackets, nor any brackets that can be used.

Anyone upgrade from an I -6 of SBC to a big block and run into this same issue?

Thanks,

Big Dave
