I have a problem with my 68 nova, I let my brother drive the car one night and it ended up in a ditch.. big mistake, never let anyone drive your car. Anyways, car wasn't damaged, but I couldn't get it to start. I can bypass the neutral safety switch on the B&M shifter to get the engine to turnover. When I bypass the switch I only have to turn the key to the "on" position and the engine tries to turnover and the starter wont disengage unless i disconnect the wires that I jumped from the switch. I bought a new switch and hooked it up and still wont start. On the B&M shifter it actually has 2 switches, one for neutral safety and one for backup, but the way they were hooked up before is 1 wire from neutral safety and 1 backup wire connect to one switch and then same thing on the other switch instead of having backup lights and neutral safety on one switch. I know the switches are in the right position on the shifter. Anyone ever heard of this or know what it could be?? Sorry for the long post - Corey
