Hello again everyone, being new to Novas and researching and learning about this burnt 65 I bought last month, I would like to ask you guys for info on AC equipped 65s. The ac unit on this one was mounted under the dash, would that mean that it was a dealer installed option as well as the seat belt retractors. Here is a pix of the hoses exiting the firewall. Any info is appreciated. Chuck

Chuck the first generation Nova didn't have AC built in the dash like the later models. Under hood space was to small for the traditional units so the under dash unit was used. The factory (and most dealer installed) units had the Nova logo on the front of the unit IDing them as GM units.
