I have a trim tag and I cant seem to decode it at any of the sites found so far, any help would be appreciated. Its a 63 SS convertable.

Line 1. 03D (march 4th week)
Line 2. Style 63-0467 (1963 chevyII Nova 400 L6 2door convertable) Body WR (willow run) XXXXX (sequence)
Line 3. Trim 1-714 (????-black vinyl buckets) Paint 922-7 (Ember red-????)
Line 4. Acc 2CM3Z (?????, B70 Padded Dash, M35 Powerglide, ????, Z03 Super Sport)

OK I got most of it, but what about the 1 and 7 in line 3. And the 2 and 3 in line 4????

Got me stumped.

For the paint code, I would guess that the dash would denote what color top the car came with, as this is a convertible. There were only 3 colors available, white, black and beige.

For your acc line, the "2" denotes second group, and the "3" denotes third group. Thats all, nothing hidden or fancy.

is there a website that has this info???? i have a friend with a 69 nova that he thinks is a SS ???? i told him if he run the tag it would tell him what motor tranny etc,etc. thanks.
