i have a 69 nova was looking at some american tt11 don't know if i want 17' or 15'. anybody have any backspacing advice suspension is stock 12 bolt with lift bars any info would be great

in the back anything that measures 28" tall by 11" section width with a 5" back space on an 8" wide rim will work. In the front you be lookin around 26"-27" tall by 9" section width with up to 4-1/2" back space on a 7" wide rim if you are goin for that pro touring look. For race car look , 275/60/15 on 15x8 with 5" backspace out back and up front 195/65/15 on 15x6 with 3" backspace.

Thanks For The Info. I Was Thinking About Trying To Mix The Two Styles Use The 17's But Go Fat In Back And Somewhat Skinny Up Front With Tires. I Don't Know If The Pro Street Look Will Blend With 17 Lol Guess I'll Find Out

yeah....a 17x8 out back and a 15x6 up front will look a lil outta place.

If you wanna go the 315/35/17 out back and 225/45/17 up front you will need to do some massaging out back because a 315 should be on a 10" wide rim. I think the most common 17" combo on the 3rd gen Novas are 225/45/17 on a 17x7 rim up front and a 275/40/17 on a 17x8 wheel out back

That's What I Meant 17x7 In Front And 17x8 In The Rear I Just Have To Get The Backspacing In The Rear Right The Front Dosen't Really Matter

i have 17x8 with 4.75" bsp in the back on a 275/40 r17

a smaller rim up front could look cool, but not ttq2's it looks like a totally differetn rim..spokes are way to small.

Is That 4.75 Bs On A Stock Rear End No Problems Hitting Anything. Are You Running The Same Size Tire Up Front Thanks For The Link Strtlegal

narrower tire up front, novas dont like wide front tires...even with a decent offset you have a chance of rubbing in side the frame...i think its a 215/50 up front..it matched my tires and wasnt to wide..on the next set im going to order i will have it a little wider

the rear is stock width 9" and the fender lips have been cut way before i got the car...

So Will 5in Bs Work With Stock Width 12 Bolt Or Should I Back Off That And Use Like 4.5 Bs

i would run a 5", what tire are you planning on running?? if its a 275/45 youll be clear with plenty of room you start running a slick on a 15" your tire might be close to the top shock sleeve

I Was Thinking Bf G-force From What I Hear Everybody Says The Sidewalls Are Like Steel No Deflection. I Guess It Depends If I Go With 15' Or 17' I Want The Pro-street Look But I Don't Know If That Will Work With 17's Maybe I'll Compromise And See What 16's Look Like. Picking Wheels Is Turning Out To Be Alot Harder Then I Thought .
