On BB novas they are supposed to have the heater assy where the heater hoses go into the center and not over by the bellhousing. Is this also true for chevelles and other models of chevy also? John

Nova and the Camaro have a much more cramped engine bay. To accommodate the BBC they had to be offset and other parts modified to fit the motor. This was not the case with the A-and B-body cars that have cavernous engine compartments by comparison. That is why the "A" and "B" body (rear steer) share headers and other parts while the Nova and Camaro (front Steer) are stable mates.
