I picked up a full set of Auto Meter Gauges for my 64' Nova. All of them are easy to wire up, except for the Speedo. The Speedo that I have is an electric one. How do I connect that correctly? The car has a 327/4spd combo. Its an M21. Any info on that would greatly help.

Thanks,

You will need to install the electric sending unit that is compatable with the speedometer onto the output of the transmission where the speedo cable usually goes. Then run the wires to the speedometer.

As mentioned above, you'll need their electronic converter to adapt the gear-driven transmission to read in pulse for the gauge to read it. Once hooked up, you will need an EXACT 2 mile stretch of road to calibrate it. I have one in my '70 model, and it's very accurate (helpful versus the gear swap hassle). Their instructions are very clear on this, if you need help check out Auto Meter's website: www.autometer.com (http://www.autometer.com)
