68-72 Nova carbon fiber hood. The real deal...not some polyester junk. Same carbon fiber manufacturer used for the Airbus. Light weight and twice as strong as steel. $800.00 +S/H... I know it seems high but these are the best out.

WOW!!! That is sweet! If I had a 3rd gen I would be SERIOUSLY thinking of putting one of those on!!

Looked at them in the Camaro isle.... sweet is all I can say :thumbsup:

Thanks John...you'd have to heft one to understand how nice these are. A freind of mine was in this afternoon from TN and was skeptical until he tried to bend it.....ultra-light and STRONG

Jon those are real nice. I am not really a fan of the CF look, but do understand the wieght and strength advantages. Can they be painted? It also appears to use standard hardware, thats a plus. And how about a cowl type for a 4th gen.

nothing on 4th gen yet; and yes they can be painted (I've seen poeple use decals as masks for painting- then remove the decals before clear coat....pretty neat touch). Stock mounting hardware is used.

HMMM instead of black SS stripes, the carbon fiber look would be awesome :yes:

i looked into those a few years back and where about the same price, but nobody could confirm how nice they were...those do seam very nice..if my car was all silver that would very nice!!!
