I've got a '72 Nova with the Hotchkis TVS suspension kit. Lowered 2" in the front and 1.5" in the rear. I am thinking of 17 or 18" wheels. Has anyone done anything similar? If so, what do you have for back spacing on the rims?

If your about ready to throw down big dollars for rims and tires , get a measuring tool . They are are around 90 dollars .They are well worth it, especially when you have a lowered vehicle and you want to put big rims on it .Right of hand a stock height 72 should take a 17x8 rim with 3.75'' b.s. and a 245-45-17 at 25.7" should fit .The biggest problem is in the front with scrubbing the fenders when turning. The back should not be a problem.

You can make the measuring tool yourself with some wood and basic hand tools
