I have a 71 SS and on the firewall above the heater core there are 2 relay looking things there. The one on the right broke. What does this go to and can I get one locally? I also want to install 1 wire alternator. What do I do with the original wires going to the regulator and whatever else?

I think one is a resistor for the fan (blower) motor to drop voltage across for control of the speed of the blower. The other is the connection (electrical ) for the blower motor and has three prongs fed by 10 gauge wire. Of course I could be wrong but that is what I remember being up there.
