I have recently bought a 63 nova and can not seem to find the vin#. Am I crazy or should it be located on the dash? Is there another palce I can locate the vin#.

look on the driver side door jamb. it will be located there

just below the upper hinge on a metal plate about an inch wide and three inches long. It may have been painted over.

After I asked the question I went home and really looked. It was in the door jam with about four coats of paint. I took a piece of paper and a pencil and transfered the numbers on the paper. It looks like a 63 nova super sport made in Oakland with the original paint being Adobe Beige. Now I just have to figure out how much back to stock I'm going to take it.
