How the heck to you change heater hoses on nova's equipped with factory air? I see no way to get to the bottom hose. Am I going to have to remove the fender and inner fender just to get to the bottom hose? The reason I am changing the hoses is that my car has been running hot lately, so I am redoing the entire cooling system. My Nova is a '72.

You will only have to drop the inner fender and let it rest on the tire. Then there will be enough room to access the hose clamp from the top. If you place a new screw type clamp in the right position next time you may be able to do it with the inner fender in place.

And if you use Goodyear's Blue Silicon rubber hose (or the factory green hose found on cop cars) you will never have to change a hose again as long as the vehicle exists (it does require special stainless covered screw clamps though). Same for the radiator hoses.
