Hi Guys,
Have 68 Acadian, just starting resto. We need quarter panels & need to know:
1) Will the 68 Nova Panels fit?
2) Some of the parts stores show them "with sail", or "without sail".
Don't understand.

Can you experts help?

I would think they are the same and the sail is the area that goes up to the roof seam.

If they are not Nova then they could be Ventura parts (Poncho) I think the Arcadian had a Pontiac style front nose clip, with a SBC power plant and running gear. Need a picture to be sure.

By the way welcome to the board, be sure to get your passports stamped at the boarder (just kidding). I saw a piece on CNN about Thunder Bay boarder crossing were they have only an unattended phone booth, and they expect everyone to dismount, regardless of the weather, and phone the nearest US Customs office for approval to enter. I can remember countless times crossing the boarder and having to wake up the guard to let them know we were ready for or inspection. (used to be the only time you knew you were in Canada and not still in the US was you could not get ice tea at a Canadian restaurant, that and the half hearted attempt to go metric).
