I have a hydraulic clutch set up on my 63 nova with a wilwood slave cylinder 7/8 bore and a 3/4 cnc master cylinder it also has a centerforce 2 pressure plate with a lake bellhousing with a mechanical throwout bearing and a clutch fork. When i go to let up on the clutch at the very top it pops and the car lurches forward so you can not let up gradually. It is undriveable so if anyone has any ideas plz tell me thank you.

Well i'll tell u one thing,i also have a lakewood bellhousing and a centerforce dual friction clutch,on my 70 nova with a muncie four speed, and i've had a few different style clutchs in this set up,and that is just the way that clutch is,those "J" shaped through out weights make it grab like that, this clutch is designed for a higher horse application and it is drivable,i drive mine all the time, it just takes some getting used to,i leave my heal planted on the floor board and slowly roll my toes back, works everytime, unfortunatley (not knowing what your application for this car is) the only way to fix that issue is a more streetable clutch---Dan

The Centerforce 2 will have a very stiff feel to it but you still should be able to slip it out without smoking the tires. Maybe your problems are with you hydraulics. It's a place to start.
