Hello everyone this is my first post. I like what ive seen of the site so far. I have a 63 and last summer I put power disk brakes all the way around and 2" drop spindles. I really want to put torque thrust d's on there but other then the spindles the front and back are both stock (apart from new bushings). I am planning on running 15x5 in the front and 15x7 out back. My problem is that i cant find torque thrusts with the backspacing i need. the fronts need to be 3.5 and the back 4.5? if anyone has any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated. if there is no way to get torque thrusts with the right spacing does anyone have any suggestions of what else to run that will look good?

much thanks
Aaron

what size tire are ya tring to run on those wheels ? The 15x7 will need 4-1/2" backspace but you can't get much bigger than a 225/60/15 under it out back. Up front try a 15x4 and a 185/70/15.

the torque thrust classic series CL205 has some that are close.

they come close but i dont think they will work. i was looking at weld draglites, i checked them out they have the right spacing i need, what do think of those?

i have run them for years. Weld makes a nice wheel. They are owned by American Racing now.

A 15x5 with a 185/70/15 will work up front and a 15x7 with 4-1/2" backspace with a 235/60/15 out back.

I also think Weld Racing Draglites are awesome looking wheels .They would look real good on your 63.If you are unsure if your wheels and tire combo will fit , there is a tool made by Wheelrite for around 90.00 dollars. You can pick it up at Jegs or summit.

i think they look really good too. i was at the portland swapmeet this weekend and saw a prostreeted one, with big old fatties out back, with the draglites. im now debating if i want to get a different rear end and tub my car and put some big tires on there now
