on the bottom of my trim tag it has 05C then a little ways down it has A 3 what does the A 3 stand for?? thanks mike

I have asked the same kind of question, I have a B and then I have a few more numbers. Let me know what you find out about it.

As a rough guess I would say it could be an RPO code for some option the car had from the factory. I looked for an A 3 and can't find anything listed as that RPO, the closest I can find is AU3 which is power door locks, but Novas did not come with those until 75.

As far as the B______ goes, if these are RPO numbers you would need to go look them up on the Nova Resource web page.

I know I'm just guessing here, but who knows even a blind squirrel finds an acorn once in a while!

here's the answer from the guys at Steve's site. It all makes sence now!!
The 'B' indicates that the rest of the interior other than the seats is also Blue, ie; headliner, dash pad, door panels, kick panels, and painted items. The 4 digit number is an inventory tracking code for the body, and does not relate to any options.
