Hi everybody. Newbe from the Camaro site. I've been hanging on to some NOS front end parts for quite awhile. I have inner and outer tie rod ends for both sides and one ball joint. I think these parts are for a 66 Nova but Im unsure. I have the original boxes for outer tie rods and number is 3826596. I checked on GMParts direct but nothing came up on search. Does anyone know what these numbers match ? thanks for your help. Lonnie

Lonnie the numbers may have changed since you purchased them and won't show up in the GM Parts catalog.
Let me do some research and see what I come up with.

The number you posted for the outer tie rods shows to be for a 63-67 full size Chevy.
Part number 3793583 show to be the inner tie rod and has a longer arm than the outer.

Philip, thanks for the help! I've probably had these parts for about 25 years, and really am not sure how I ended up with them. If you don't mind, could you tell me where you are finding the info? thanks again, Lonnie

Lonnie I could tell you but them I would have to .......:D
I purchased a cd with a GM parts catalog on it. It was just a matter of looking in the front steering section and finding the part number. PM me if you would like to know where to get one.

Philip, Don't tell my wife, but I think she's right- I am losing my memory! I hate it when she's right. I purchased that cd a couple of years ago! Your right, it lists as for Chevy. Just curious, other listings are for[ pass]. What do they consider a Chevy and what models are considered Pass?

The Chevy designation is for full size cars (B body) The others are listed as Chevelle, Nova, Camaro etc. I believe the pass listing is a part that fits across the lines.
