would a 80 T/A rear fit in my ventura and would it be a 8.5 or a 7.5:confused:

Its an 8.5 but is about 1.5-2" wider than yours, and the perches are further apart too.

Double check with BigGearHead (Freddie) to be 100%

The '80 TA rear end is 61 inches wide over all and the spring perches are 45 1/4 inches center to center. The Ventura rear end is 60 inches wide over all and the spring perches are 42 1/2 inches center to center. The TA rear end is an 8.5. All of the parts from it will transfer to a Ventura 8.5 except the axles.
