I keep hearing that the crossmember has holes for the th400 crossmember but on mine I only see the holes that the powerglide is bolted to is there a difference between the subframe in a nova and a ventura

So because the BBC was offset to the passenger side the holes are different than any SBC application. The TH400 transmission crossmember was also unique in that it has one round corner in an otherwise square hole in the member to mount the rubber bushing. The Power Gulide crossmember should be the same as the TH350. Sent you a PM with the June 1991 Super Chevy Article outlining all of the changes and part numbers with pictures of each part to put a BBC in a F-body or X-body car that had a SBC before.
