just another new guy, I am in need of body parts good enough to do restore job on a '78..I know it's odd year for redo..but hey...if nayone has a line of fenders/doors/hood etc...please let me know...thanks.

Mike welcome to the site. This is a great resource to help with the restoration of your 78. However if you want to advertise to buy or sell parts please use the classified section. The link is in the top menu bar.

As far as after market sources go there is not a lot of availability of 4th generation Nova parts being reproduced. You can get fiberglass cowl hoods and bumpers. There are others that are trying to get tooled up to manufacture tail lights and SS grills. Some parts from earlier models will work, like the 4 speed shifter hump, side marker lamps and of course most of the drive train.

Thanks for the info, I knew wouldn't have much to choose from on a 78 , but it's been in family since new...my son and I have put alot of work in...350 stroker, apx 425 HP, 3.73 posi, 90% interior done...just need to get body where I can put quality paint....thanks....

as said there are not a lot of parts ,for the 75-79 novas,but you can get floorpans and quater skins ,i replaced the quater skins on my twin brothers 78 nova . all the quater skins you will find are offshore stamped. i have a 77 i repaced the floorpans in i got them from jandw novas .they are us staped and the quarter skins you can get from them to .hope this helps
