does anybody know where or how to make the supports that the gas tank straps hang off of? When replacing the trunk pan, I had to cut out the original hangers, as they were rusted beyond repair. I have heard that Camaro hangers from the same year will work. Any help out there? 72 Nova guy

Camaro parts are identical

I'm not sure about all Camaro parts, but I looked at the 69 Camaro hangers and they look the same. Mine can be patched, so right now it is only something I am considering doing.

Well floor boards and doors don't swap but little stuff does. The Nova and Camaro were designed to use as many parts in common as they could find because GM thought the Camaro might be a bust so they wanted to hedge their bets with the Nova sales. A Nova is just a 3/4" longer wheel-base first generation Camaro that has more head room in my opinion. There really are very few differences except the cosmetic sheet metal ("A" pillar angle , etc.).
