hey,i have a 74 nova and was wondering what i would have 2 do 2 bolt a 700r4 trans 2 my 350,i would appriciate the help

When I put a 700 in my 70 I used a th400 crossmember by cutting off the trans mount purch and welded it back on on the other side. I also had to drill new holes in the subframe to bolt the crossmember to. The mount from a th350 will bolt on a 700 and the torque converter will bolt in the same holes as a th350 so it doesn't matter if you have the big(164 tooth) flywheel or the little(153) flywheel. My Nova has the little one. The th350, 4 and 3 speed yokes will fit in the 700 but you have to shorten the driveshaft about 2 inches unless you have a long tailshaft th350 then it's the right length.
