I just wanted to introduce myself as a new member of this site, I found this site while searching for some Caltrac information and found a post on a Nova and thats what Im working on so it cought my attention.

I have a 72 Nova so I hope to learn a lot and meet some new friends.

My chassis work is done for the most part now all Im doing is getting ready to tear it down to start fixing some needed patch areas in the truck where I went crazy in the begining. My friend Jim Gorski fixed and finished my chassis work and my friend Scott Williams will be working with me on my engine set up.

We plan to be ready to hit the track in April to start learning what the car likes and get the chassis adjustments started. So I have no performance stats on the car other than last night it weighed 3,185 w/o driver and I hope to find another 50-75 pound reduction and better my weight distribution from 52 / 48 to 50 / 50

Welcome to the site. It is tough getting a good weight distribution on an early muscle car. You can move only so much aft of the CG. Wish you best of luck.
